Caption Only.Mural Artist Mariah deForest checks a rendering with Century Walk Administrator Michael R. Trippiedi, as artist Hector Duarte does the actual painting from a lift high above the sidewalk in downtown Naperville. The project is a depiction of transportation advances in the last 100 years. The canvas is the east wall of The Lantern Bar & Grill on Chicago Avenue at Washington Street. The purpose is to add to the Century Walk, a program of public art works commemorating local people and events of the 1900s. The title is Transportation in Naperville, Illinois; We Fly the Skies, Ride the Rails, Ply the River and Hit the Road.
